Anthea Harris’ children’s book about Frederick Tederick and the colourful characters he meets in the woods!
Off Freddie went into the wood. He walked further than he had ever walked before. Somehow the trees looked different and bigger than before, and the paths looked longer and more wiggly than before. When he looked around, that way looked like this way, and this way looked like that way, and yet they all looked the same.
Freddie was lost.
The Owl and the Pussy Cat is a 1870 poem by Edward Lear. These illustrations are mock-ups for a picture book showing the adventure Owl and Pussy take.
“The Owl and the Pussy-cat went to sea
In a beautiful pea-green boat,
They took some honey, and plenty of money,
Wrapped up in a five-pound note…. “
